A SACRED CALL TO HOLY WEEK
Prepare. Reflect. Honor the Lord.
Beloved Tabernacle Family,
We stand at the threshold of the most sacred and transformative period of our Christian faith—Holy Week.
This is not a routine observance.
This is a set-apart moment.
A time to pause. A time to reflect. A time to deeply engage the sacrifice and triumph of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us enter this week with open hearts and disciplined spirits—ready not only to remember, but to be transformed.
SCRIPTURES FOR HOLY WEEK ALIGNMENT
Isaiah 53:5
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities…”
Christ’s suffering was not symbolic—it was personal. This week calls us to confront the weight of that sacrifice and respond with intentional living.
Luke 22:42
“Not my will, but Yours, be done.”
In Gethsemane, Jesus modeled complete surrender. This week, we must examine where our will is resisting God’s will—and release it.
Matthew 28:6
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.”
The resurrection is not only a historical truth—it is a present invitation. We are called to live in resurrection power now.
FIVE LIFE LESSONS FOR HOLY WEEK
Sacrifice Precedes Glory — There is no resurrection without a cross. Do not resist the process that is preparing you.
Obedience Is Greater Than Comfort — Jesus chose obedience in Gethsemane. Growth will always require discomfort.
Silence Can Be Strategic — Christ did not respond to every accusation. Not every battle requires your voice.
Love Must Be Demonstrated, Not Declared — The cross is proof. Let your love be visible through action.
Resurrection Requires Release — You cannot walk in new life while holding onto what God has called you to leave behind.
HOW TO HONOR HOLY WEEK (PRACTICAL DIRECTIVES)
This week requires participation, not observation.
Daily Scripture Meditation (15–20 minutes): Focus on Matthew 26–28 and Luke 22–24.
Intentional Prayer and Fasting: Create space for spiritual clarity and alignment.
Acts of Reconciliation: Forgive, restore, and release what has been unresolved.
Serve Someone Intentionally: Let your faith be expressed through action.
Engage Fully in Worship: Do not spectate—enter in with expectation.
A FINAL CHARGE TO THE CHURCH
This Holy Week, we pursue transformation over tradition.
Return to discipline. Restore your prayer altar. Realign your life with the Word of God. Recommit to your divine calling.
We are not observers of the Passion. We are participants in the power of His resurrection.
CLOSING PRAYER
Father,
We come with hearts humbled by the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Search us. Purify us. Align us with Your will.
Give us the discipline to reflect, the courage to change, and the faith to walk in resurrection power.
We will not just remember—we will respond.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
