About the Author
Dr. Carolyn Coleman, affectionately known as the Lady of Wisdom, is a Bishop, educator, counselor, and author whose ministry spans more than three decades.
She is the Founder and Bishop of Tabernacle of Alpha & Omega Non-Denominational Church in Jackson, Mississippi, the C² Educational Resource Center and the visionary behind The Lady of Wisdom Publishing Company. Widely known as the “Let It Go Specialist,” she is a Licensed Master Christian Life Coach who teaches women, men, and youth the power of letting go of the past and embracing purposeful joy.
Dr. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and a Master of Science in Library Science and Educational Technology from Jackson State University, as well as dual Ph.D. degrees in Philosophy & Human Relations and Clinical Psychology from Dayspring Christian University.
She is the Founder of the DCCJ Branch of Kingdom Theological Seminary International, where she serves as Academic Dean, helping equip and mentor emerging leaders in ministry, scholarship, and servant leadership.
Dr. Coleman is the author of 19 books, including the acclaimed Mama’s Book of Prayers, Prompts, Power, and Praise (co-authored with her daughter, Dr. Catherine Coleman-Smith) and the powerful anthology series We Write the Letters That Heal.
Through preaching, publishing, coaching, and mentoring, Dr. Coleman exemplifies faith, wisdom, and resilient servant leadership, inspiring individuals and communities to rise with purpose.
